Welcome Back Bakers!

Happy New Year, bakers! All of us Exec hope you’ve had a restful and enjoyable time off and are hungry to get back to Baking Society this Lent Term. Here’s just a taste of some of the fabulous bakes and socials coming your way in 2024.

Coming up we have bakes that should suit everyone’s tastebuds, including vegan cinnamon rolls (a major success last year), pizza for those of you excited for a savoury bake, and some brand-new recipes too, such as Biscoff stuffed cookies and mini apple pies. If you haven’t been able to make it to a session yet, we’d absolutely love for you to come along and bake this term! If your New Year’s Resolution is to bake more, look no further.

Last term’s socials were a great success, with so many of you joining us to quiz and take part in our Bake-Off competition, to name a couple. We will be continuing with our fortnightly socials this term too, bakers, so get excited for a night in Tipple for cocktails and mocktails as well as a craft social, a film night and baking bingo! Plenty to be doing to motivate us to do our uni work.

A quick reminder for any prospective bakers out there that membership costs only £6 for the year or £3 a term and Saturday sessions are £2.50 a ticket to cover the cost of ingredients on top of membership.
