Hustings for Baking Society Exec 2024-25!

Hi Bakers, happy second half of term! In some exciting news, our Exec 2024-25 applications are now open! As the majority of our current Exec are graduating this year, we would absolutely love to see Baking Society carry on thriving into the new year! As a reminder, we have a variety of roles available, so if you’re thinking of joining, I am more than sure you’ll find the role for you, whether that’s in social media admin (like me) organising socials (like Leah) or managing our finances (like Ashley) to name but a few.

In terms of applying, we ask you to send over a short paragraph-maximum of 250 words- telling us why you’d like the role you are applying for, who you are, and why you think you’d be a great addition to the Baking Society Exec! The deadline is 22nd April at 2pm. You can send these on Instagram, Facebook, or to our email. If you wish, you can apply for up to 3 Exec positions, too. All information on hustings and the positions you can apply for are on our Instagram, so head there for a full rundown of information. Also feel free to message any questions or ask us Exec anything in person- we are more than happy to answer any queries.

From my own experience of being on the Exec for two years, I can safely say it has been one of the highlights of my uni experience- great fun, great friends, and Exec get to bake for free! So, if you’re thinking of going for a role, I’d really encourage you to apply and get stuck in! :) Happy baking and good luck to any applicants.
